If you’re not ready for a full or half marathon, but a 5K feels a bit short, join us at the Salt Lake Marathon 10K this Saturday, April 13. The fast, flat course practically guarantees a PR, and it’s the perfect way to kick off spring training. It’s the newest event at this race series and is a great addition as Salt Lake has very few 10K races. Utilizing a portion of the half marathon course, the race starts near 500 S and 900 E. and runs through the Sugar House neighborhood and downtown areas.
Whether you’re looking to break your record or run a 10K for the first time, this course is designed for you.  Starts and ends in the heart of downtown Salt Lake City where the streets are lined with people cheering you on or entertaining you. Plus, you’ll get a super blingy, Utah-shaped medal for participating–without having to it in 26.2 miles.
We’ll be at the packet pickup expo giving out FREE copies of our new 2019 Keeper race calendar issue and participating in the 10K on Saturday. We’d love to have you join us! Use code OSGslc19 to receive 20% off your race entry for the Salt Lake Marathon 10K.
The perks for the 10k are the same as all other Salt Lake Marathon events:
  • Finisher Medal for ALL
  • Premium Tech T-Shirts for ALL
  • SLC Marathon Bag for ALL
  • FREE Athlete Photos
  • FREE Post Race Massages & Recovery Zone
  • FREE Trax Ride TO & FROM Event
  • Entertainment Zones Along Course
  • FREE Post Race Festival – Live Band
