Halloween Zip Tour at Sundance Mountain Resort

0
By Melissa McGibbon on October 26, 2015 Uncategorized

If you’re looking for a spooktacularly fun way to celebrate Halloween, check out the Halloween Zip Tour at Sundance Resort.

So maybe you’ve done a zip tour before, but have you ever done one at night? We checked it out and it’s pretty awesome. When we heard we could fly above the trees like witches on broomsticks, we couldn’t resist.

Head to the Resort early to enjoy Halloween-themed games and movies (Ghostbusters!). We ate delicious breaded shrimp tacos and shoestring fries from the food truck before our big adventure.

The Outlaw Zip Line is a very long and steep 3,870 from top to bottom.  It’s one of the longest lines in the country. Screaming along the way made it more fun!

If you go, dress warmly–like beanies, puffies, and shoes with socks. You’ll want to be cozy on the chairlift ride up. The chairlift ride is entertaining too. The Resort team went out of their way to set up scenes for riders to enjoy on the way up.

Pro tip: Stick around after the ride and warm up with a hot toddy at the Owl Bar.

The Halloween Zip Tour is $39 and you can plan on a total activity time of 1.5 hours. Tours run from 7:00 PM to 11:00 PM except on Sundays.
