Already have weekend plans? Cancel them. The CamelBak Pursuit Series is rolling into Utah this Friday-Sunday, August 11-13, and you don’t want to miss out. One-day passes include all the gear you’ll need for activities, all meals, cold-brew coffee, open bar, and a huge selection of outdoor activities and classes from mountain biking to stand up paddleboarding to rock climbing.
The whole event is held at Snowbasin Resort, just 33 miles from Salt Lake City, and after previewing the course a few weeks ago, I can assure you–it’s going to be an epic venue.

Beyond the outdoor activities, Pursuit Series is also a place to gain some serious outdoor skills. Whether you want to get the basics on outdoor first aid or backcountry cooking, there’s a class for that. I find that it’s so hard to get involved in a new activity if you don’t have friends already doing it to teach you. Pursuit Series lets you skip that step and learn the skills you need to get out. Last year at a similar event, I took a backpacking cooking class that forever changed the way I eat in the woods. I learned simple, healthy recipes that I now replicate on my own with friends. No more terrible freeze-dried food. Instead, I make my own tortilla soup. Game changing. Seriously.
