The Utah Avalanche Center's 27th Annual Backcountry Benefit will be held on Thursday, September 10. The party that kicks off winter has been forced to make some changes due to COVID-19. We can't have our normal 1,000+ person party this year, but that doesn't mean we still can't come together as a community and celebrate the coming winter. Bullfrog, UT. A 390 mile off-road triathlon across Utah. 40 miles of kayaking on Lake Powell, 250 miles of mountain biking north towards Provo, then 100 miles of running. Finishing at the Camelot Resort in Fruitland, UT, with a private post-race gathering. Entrants will self-support with a crew. GPS tracking, emergency support, and pre/post race events provided by the organizers. Tandem and Relay teams are welcomed and encouraged. The course is almost entirely on low-traffic dirt roads.
