Join the Laguna Niguel Family YMCA for the 42nd annual Run In The Parks on July 4th. Run in The Parks is a great community and family tradition to celebrate Independence Day. Races are held through the Crown Valley Community Park and Laguna Niguel Regional Park. There is a 10K run, 5K run/walk, Children’s Races & Dog Walk. All race entries include a goodie bag, pancake breakfast ticket, medals for 1st-3rd place in 5K & 10K divisions, and children’s medals. All proceeds from the event benefit the YMCA scholarship program.

Strollers, children, and dogs are welcome however we ask that you start behind those running at the starting line. Dogs also need to be on a short non-retractable leash.

Children’s races start at 9:30am. There is a 1 mile (8-12 yr recommended), 1/2 mile (6-12yrs recommended), 1/4 mile (4-6yrs recommended) and 25 yard (0-4yrs recommended). Children may choose to sign up for the 5K or 10K instead. Those who sign up for the 5K or 10K are open to do the children’s races after if desired.
