Join us for the 22nd annual family friendly, non-competitive bike ride at Antelope Island State Park, in the middle of Great Salt Lake. The ride starts 10:00pm at the White Rock Bay and is lit by the full moon.

The USA Track & Field sanctioned Layton Marathon starts on Antelope Island and runs 10 Miles across the island with views of the Great Salt Lake to the East and wildlife like Buffalo(Bison), Coyote, Big Horn Sheep and Birds abound. Basically you run up the Frary Peak Trail, touch the radio repeater near the summit, then run back down. But there’s a little twist, it’ll be a time trial type start. We’ll start 1-2 people every minute. The reason for this is that first, it’s something a little different, and second, the trail is so narrow, that in order to accommodate 50-75 people, we have to do it this way.

Antelope by Moonlight Bike Ride
Celebrating 25 Years! Non-competitive, family friendly event. 23 miles roundtrip on an asphalt road, starts at White Rock Bay, half way point is Fielding Garr Ranch and back to White Rock Bay. Refreshments will be served at the Ranch until midnight. Prizes, including a bike from Biker’s Edge in Kaysville, will be awarded to participants who choose to dress up or decorate their bike using the ride theme “Ride of the Silver Serpent”. Ride starts at 10:00 p.m.

Antelope Island Marathon
After 7 years of the Layton Marathon we were in need of changing the finish location due to all the new construction and homes being built in Layton City. After listening to our runners we decided to have more course on Antelope Island. All course are 100% on Antelope Island now. The Half Marathon will start near Garr Fielding Ranch (where the Layton Marathon used to start) and run the island and finish at the Marina. To see all the new courses check out the course pages of the website. The Marathon will not be a bused out start but an out and back on the Half Marathon course.
