Provo Midnight Run

July 29, 2019 @ 9:00 pm - July 30, 2019 @ 1:00 am

In 2011 On Hill Events created the first of the glow stick runs with the Legacy Midnight Run. This was the first of the midnight run races on the Legacy Parkway Trail System. The concept is to run under a full moon at night with glow sticks and attempt to beat the midnight hour. The goal is to beat the midnight Though all medals are high end flashing medals we still encourage all racers to attempt to beat the midnight hour and finish with a great time.

The Legacy race finishes at the Davis County Fairgrounds and inside one of their exhibit buildings. The building is full of lights and sounds from black lights, flashing ice cubes in the coolers, glow stick cotton candy, dance lighting and lazers. It is a great way to finish and have a blast with other runners along the way.

The Provo race finishes behind some hotels on the Provo River Parkway decorated with lights, music and fun.

For those afraid of running at night we supply all runners with glow sticks to run with and the course is lit with lighting of the moon and from the roads. Both courses are primarily closed (99%) for safety. We do encourage runners to wear head lamps however most will run without them.
