How do you distinguish your triathlon from others? Bigger? Different? Harder? More competitive? Well, one of our athletes did it for us! "The Best Little Triathlon in the World." While we are not the largest, nor maybe the hardest, we do have a course that matches any other in scenic beauty. It all starts with a 450 Meter outdoor pool swim. The bike portion is a 20K, followed by a 5K run.

Find out more »Southern Utah Triathlon
The Southern Utah Triathlon takes place just North of St. George at Quail Creek State Park. The swim starts with a few wave starts and in water start. The air and water temperature this time of year averages between 70-75 degrees. The swim is a triangle swim of 750 Meters for the Sprint and the Olympic does this twice for 1500 Meters. Transitioning out of the water you will run up the boat ramp around 50 yards and then ride an out and back route near Hurricane Utah. The bike course has a few climbs but with that some down hill rides with it. The run course is an out and back heading South on the exit. Sprint will turn around at 1.55 Miles for a return trip of 3.1 Miles and Olympic will do the Sprint distance twice totalling 6.2 Miles. This course is beautiful and incredibly landscaped.

Welcome to the Turkey Tri. Come out and BURN those holiday calories with triathlon distances challenging enough for the seasoned triathlete, yet short enough for the novice triathlete. The event begins with a ½ mile calm lake swim. The bike is a 14 mile (2-loop) road course that is mostly flat with a couple of small hills. The run is 4.5 miles all on paved surfaces around the lake.
