Join SLC native and REI customer Dave Smith as he discusses and shares photos from his efforts to climb the tallest mountains in four Western states. During the summer of 2009 Dave attempted to climb Mount Hood in Oregon, Wheeler Peak in New Mexico, Kings Peak in Utah, and Mount Rainier in Washington . The first three climbs were all in preparation for climbing Mount Rainier, the 4th highest mountain in the United States. Did Dave succeed in this endeavor? What was his experience like on each of these state high points?
