Fremont Indian State Park tells the story of the largest village of Fremont Indians ever discovered and is a jumping off point for many other discoveries and adventures. One thousand years ago, the valleys along what is now I-70 near Sevier, UT were home to the largest community of Fremont Indians ever discovered. Their rock art and structures are still visible in the canyons of Fremont Indian State Park. The park also supports a variety of other enjoyable recreation opportunities and programs for explorers of all ages. A free day pass to a Utah State Park will be randomly given away at this presentation. The Utah Division of Parks and Recreation manages 43 State Parks. These parks are as varied as Utah itself from incredible scenic and recreational based parks, to historic parks preserving some of the oldest and most unique history in the U.S. www.rei.com/saltlakecity or call 801-486-2100.
